How does the turning lights work.?

The turn signals will automatically, wirelessly be controlled by the same Tx Unit, we give you when you order and X1 Smart LED Helmet and/or GEN2 Smart LED Tech Pack.  The Tx Unit connects to your brake light and turn signals on your motorcycle, takes about 30 minutes, no cutting or splicing wires, we give you wiring diagrams for your specific motorcycle.

One Tx Unit per motorcycle.

When you use the turn signals on your motorcycle, they wirelessly do the same on your VATA7 Smart LED Gear.  In the future, we are working on some new additions to our VATA7 mobile app that will give you other options, for auto-turn signals.

I periodically visit Spokane in which I just learned that it's the location of your headquarters. When I purchase my helmet is there a place there in Spokane that I can pick it up from?

Hi, yes!  Just contact us so we can be sure to coordinate with you whether we have your VATA7 Smart LED Helmet in stock or when it will arrive from our helmet factory at VATA7-EUROPE in Switzerland/Italy.  We do have GEN2 Smart LED Tech Packs that are made here at VATA7-USA in Spokane, those are ussually in stcock.

is it comfortable? how good is the ventilation and does it fog up?

Hello!  

The feedback we have received is that's it's extremely comfortable.  Many we have heard from say it's the most comfortable helmet they've ever had. It's VERY light weight and the padding is extremely comfortable.  The venting is excellent AND the comes comes with Pinlock anti fog lens to prevent fogging.

We have a 5 year warranty on our electronics and a 1 year standard warranty on the helmet.

What safety ratings does your helmet have?

Our helmets are DOT & ECE22.06 tested and approved.

Does the helmet have Bluetooth Communication?

Your X1 Smart LED Helmet does come with Midland Premium mic and speakers installed. You can use it with Midland comms system, or replace mic and speakers with your own BT comms system to connect to your phone to play music, communicate with friends, etc. Our fully integrated BT comms plug and play system will be available end of 3rd QTR 2024. Our Midland BR-1 Bluetooth comms is available now on our website and connects to the Premium mic and speakers already install in your X1 Smart LED Helmet.

How does it connect to my motorcycle?

We give you a 1"x 1" Tx Unit that connects to your brake light in just a few minutes, SUPER EASY, no cutting or splicing wires. One Tx Unit per motorcycle. Unlimited amount of VATA7 Smart LED Gear can connect to just one Tx Unit. Then, we have a VATA7 mobile app that's available now that lets you and your passenger can customize your LEDs.  We give you all the instructions and everything you need including assistance, if needed.

What if I have a passenger?

Our VATA7 mobile app that lets you and your passenger customize your LEDs, so you can turn on and off sections if you have a passenger, so the lights aren’t in their face and both helmets still mirror in perfect sync your motorcycle’s brake light and turn signals.

Do you have a modular helmet?

We're launching our M1 (Modular) Smart LED Helmet at EICMA this November 2024. Be sure to sign up on our website for updates.

How soon will I receive my X1 helnet?

It takes 4-8 weeks to build the X1 by hand with over 30 pieces of carbon fiber, Aeronautical technology plus all the additional integrated technology that comes with it making the X1 SUPER lightweight and very safe for all riders!

What anti-fog lens do you recommend?

Your X1 Smart LED Helmet comes with Pinlock's BEST anti-fog lens available in the market. The 120XLT is used for Moto-GP and Formula 1 and we include it with your X1.

Is there a helmet that fits closely to yous for sizing?

Yes, many say our helmets fit closely to Shoei helmets.

Do you have a size exchange program?

Yes, we have a 30 day FREE size exchange program. Be sure your helmet is unused and that all the decals, accessories, packaging, etc that came with your helmet are sent back to us. Please email us at info@vata7 for more details.

Does your helmet wirelessly connect to my motorcycle?

Our wireless technology connects to ANY motorcycle with a brake light. Don't have a brake light? You can use our VATA7 mobile app to signal brake light and downshifting.

What is your warranty?
